Dive Instructor Courses is designed for those with a passion for diving and want to make diving their career. The course consists of a few phases, which are typically in a schedule of five, six, or seven classes.

The First Phase of the Dive Instructor Course

The first phase of the course consists of theoretical and practical classes on diving techniques, including breathing methods, oceanography, and physiology. The student will have to complete an eight-hour introductory lesson and a four-week advanced course to pass the exam. The exam is usually a beginner course in the Instructor Development Program.

The Second Phase of Dive Course Program

The second phase of the course consists of a series of practical classes. These include diving in open water, underwater research, and teaching skills.

Third Phase of Dive Course Program

Students will learn about diving’s legal and ethical issues in the third phase, such as driving without a license, using a decompression chamber or mask, and transporting and storing diving equipment. Students will also get in-depth lessons to learn about marine biology and ocean and underwater photography. Students will learn how to use safety equipment and dive safely at all times.

Other Phases of Training

Students will participate in some hands-on dives during the fourth and fifth courses to practice the skills they learned in their first and second-year classes. These dives may be conducted by the instructors, students, or other professionals. Students will learn techniques on rescue divers, ocean rescues, water rescue, and scuba diving.

The last and final phase of the Training Program involves the IIE. This test is the final IEE or Internal Diver Certification Exam. This exam is the most difficult of all courses, and one must clear it with a perfect score of 90%.

Cost of the Course

The cost of these Dive Instructor Courses will depend upon the duration and the level of instruction offered. The actual prices will vary depending on the institution you choose, the time spent learning the course, and whether it is part-time or full-time.

A diving course can be more expensive than a class in a different sport or even a degree in another field. If you want to learn, but do not want to get stuck in the regular programs’ educational ruts, then this is the course for you. If you would like to become certified as a professional diver, you will also need to take a certification course. This course should contain a variety of diving techniques and equipment, including rescue and emergency procedures. Finally, students will need to complete an exam covering all of the courses taken.
