The Morgellons Fibers Conspiracy, as per the medical professional consensus, there is a new delusional parasitosis called Morgellons.
WHY DO THE MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS CALL IT A CONSENSUS OF DELUSIONAL PARASITOSIS AND NOT A FORMAL DISEASE.
Well for the following reasons;
- 1 – SELF DIAGNOSED: this is a name given by patients who without any scientific background or support complain about a fibrous material on or under their skin but is all unsubstantiated by the medical field
- 2 – CAN BE SELF INFLICTED: most patients complain of this condition after scratching themselves compulsively until it turns to sores and the fibers they complain about that they see under their home magnifying glasses or microscopes are usually found in or on the material of their clothing. and other textiles.
- 3 – In 2002 the condition was first named by a person called Mary Leitao who felt disillusioned by the medical profession when they diagnosed their son with delusional parasitosis, and thus chose the name from a 17th-century physician.
Together with some friends and other ” sufferers ” Leitao formed the Morgellons Research Foundation and successfully lobbied the CDC and the senate in 2006 to further investigate this new ” disease”
Much to the Morgellons Fibers Conspiracy surprise the CDC released the researched findings in 2012, which they claimed to be multi-yeared, and proved that it was no disease or diseased organisms but actually fibers found in each individual’s clothing and or other exposed textiles.
It was considered and recognized to be what is known as delusional infestation.
WHAT WAS THE OFFICIAL CDC FINDINGS?
After self-described sufferers and the Morgellons Research Foundation spent many hours sending letters and liked the foundation’s control webpage to log complains and send letters to Congress and the CDC, the CDC decided to take the next step and do the research which they claim to be a multi-yeared research effort, which by August 2006 already had 12 CDC members ( specialists in the field of chronic diseases, parasitic and environmental disease, a toxicologist, a mental health expert, two pathologists, and an ethicist)
With more support from the armed forces medical teams and universities especially relating to the ” weird fibers” in November 2007, using samples from all patients and compared to their environment and clothing and ran biopsies all up until 2012 and this is when they released their results of DELUSIONAL FESTATIONS AND PARISITOSIS.
