These soft stuffed cuties have been made and designed in London, since 1999. Their fun creatures are made from the finest and softest pile fabrics, so they are huggable, easy companions at bedtime. Age suitability is tested for Jellycat’s full line of products. Safe for every age, Jellycat is suitable from birth to any point thereafter.
Each toy is accompanied by a product page that describes testing the toy has been subjected to. An example is the floppy eared bunny which has passed the European Safety Standard for toys: EN71 parts 1, 2 & 3. Instructions are also given to adults that keep accidents from occurring: Keep the toy away from the crib or cot while the child is sleeping. Don’t tumble dry, wash in a washing machine, or dry clean. Hand wash only. These clearly worded instructions keep the Jellycat line of toys from being part of an unfortunate accident.
Jellycat launches new additions to its line every January and July of each year. Some of the more unique stuffed toys in the Jellycat line are the stuffed plants. Complete with pots, they have a Jade plant, a bluebell flower, a stuffed daisy, petunia, and a sunflower. Among the quirkier stuffed toys is an Astrotastic planet; Zalien, the alien; Galactic Pop, the astronaut; the robot, Jellybot and the Cosmopop Rocket.
