Home fragrances are immensely popular. Over the years, we had air freshener sprays, incense, scented candles, diffusers, scented oils, and now there is a proliferation of wax warmers. The wax warmer is in a wall plugin, a corded plugin, and a wax burner or wax melt warmer. The wax is either melted by the heat generated by a light bulb, a burning candle sat beneath the wax basin or a heating element activated by electricity.
These wax warmers use scented wax chips or mini candles placed in the basin that is directly subjected to heat. In ten to twenty minutes the aroma of the wax begins to drift into the air. The scent will last anywhere from 6 to 8 hours. Occasionally, a strong scent will persist even longer than 8 hours. Many warmers simply make the air a little fragrant, while others are meant to cancel out stale odors leaving a very neutral odor or no odor at all.
Scented Candle Odor Varieties
The scents emitted range from the floral, to the fruity to the spicy. They even move into the exotic with fragrances like ylang-ylang, sandalwood, eucalyptus, coconut, patchouli, aloe, sea spray and cucumber.

The Evolution of the Warmer
Wax warmers have continued to evolve since they were first introduced years ago. At first, they simply had a burning wax candle beneath the scented wax. Now, they are plugged into the wall with an electric cord and they have off and on switches and lights to indicate when they are on.
Warmers with Light Bulbs
The warmer with a light will often illuminate the area where they are placed. The light bulb used ranges in power from a 15 to 25 watt bulb. They don’t light up the room, but they do illuminate a corner or a table top.
Maintenance of Your Wax Warmer
The warmer is easy to clean as the wax melts, it can simply be wiped clean off the warming base. There is no need to apply cleansers or water. When you switch from an exotic fragrance to a clean fragrance like white linen, there is no need to do anything extra, other than wiping the melted wax out of the basin.
Your home or office is immediately ready to be infused with its new room scent, with no hint of the scent preceding the current one.
