- 1 – UNHAPPY WITH EYE COLOR: many people always want another color eye no matter what color it or even because they are different colors be green one blue etc.
Colored contacts can be a solution though temporary as per costs and looking after it etc.
There are those who have a stigma attached to certain colors as per history (blue-eyed boys of tye Nazi youth) and others again have perfect vision but have a problem with their eye’s cornea or iris and want a lens to cover it up.
- 2 – PARTY EVENTS AND COSTUMES: Many parties especially Cosplay and Comicon or even Halloween has become so advanced with high tech as with many of these characters and to win prizes or just to fit in and make a statement you must have the proper costume with all necessary accessories that matches to the T, and that includes the eyes, so if you pitch up as an Anime character that is known to have red eyes and yours is blue you will end up laughing stock as in Anime hair and Colored contacts can not only dictate what sex you are but also good or evil and the eye and hair color is the only difference with the costumes being the same!
- 3 – ACTORS AND ACTRESSES: Many actors and actresses have to wear them to represent a character they play in a movie, for example, blue eyes for Frank Sinatra and Cat eyes for Cat woman, and it is much cheaper than special effects ( SFX ) added afterward and as we mentioned before the advancement in technology has made it so that the fans want originality and reality all in one.
- 4 – JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT: Many wear it just for the fun of it and will change it on a daily basis as well as at every different party and has now become a party or status symbol especially those with not only different colors but colors that swirl, checkered and even change in different lights.
